Do you prefer bar soap or body wash?

I was having this discussion with my sister yesterday. I love bar soap. It actually makes me feel clean. I feel like body wash makes me smell good but doesn't necessarily get me clean. What do you think?

I prefer body wash. I apply with a loofah, so I always feel clean and smell yummy

I use pine tar bar soap. It helps if you have dry, itchy skin.

I use both. I wash first with a moisturizing bar soap and then afterward do a quick wash over with body wash because it does smell nice.

In the shower & bath, I prefer bar soap.  My wife prefers body wash.  And, the whole family uses liquid hand soap at the sink!  In the shower & bath, I like using the loofah as I can get a good srubbing but don't often use it.  Occasionally I will use a wash cloth again for scrubbing purposes.  Which reminds me, it's 7:30am on a Sunday, I have been up about 3 hours and could us a warm soak in the tub.

Body wash. The bar soap isles are getting smaller and smaller these days. I do like the custom soaps you can get at specialty bath places, otherwise it's body wash all the way!

   Definitely body wash - haven't used anything else for years and i always feel as clean as with bar soap which makes me feel more dry no matter what kind I use.  I used to use bar soap just on my face and now I use a cream face wash so no more bar soap for me.

Although I use both, I really prefer the bar soap. The Puffs that you use with the Body soap seems to irritate my skin.

I like to use body wash although sometimes I use a cetaphil bar because I have dry skin. It doesn't smell as good, but it cleans and doesn't dry my skin.

I love body wash, I haven't used bar soap in years.  My husband only would used bar soap, but now he's using the body wash for men.
