What do you take or do for headaches?

I take tylenol for headaches. 90% of the time I take them with something with caffeine in it like pepsi. I used to take excedrin for that reason but it got to be a little too much caffeine for me and actually made my headaches worse in the long run.

I swear by ibuprofen...love that stuff!

It depends on what kind of headache it is.  Stress, migraine, cold, hormonal.  Most of headaches I use Motrin.  Although at different points of injury through the years I've had to increase the doses and usage of it so I try to manage my headaches with other options first.  Sometimes drinking a bottle or 2 of water and going for a walk  - or stretching relieves a headache.  Other times when a migraine erupts; I'll do a combination of things.  Motrin, freeze my ache with an ice - pack... sometimes I literally sleep on an ice-pack.  Hydrate and sleep.  Quick tip for tension headache - freeze a bottle of water and lay on it...so it fit's in the crook of your neck... ahhhhhhhh relief.

I normally take allieve for any headache pain. I used to use Bayer but, that seems to upset my stomach at time. I think allieve seems to work as well as bayer without the problems it gives to my stomach.

I take ibuprofen for headaches. I save aleve for arthritis pain.

I normally take ibuprofin. It is cheap and works great.

I use Tylenol for my headache.  But now since I know that I have migraine headaches now Tylenol is not work for me anymore.

I always take Motrin for headaches although there are a few times even Motrin doesn't work. For instance, if I have got myself dehydrated, nothing helps apart from drinking lots of water and putting a cold, wet cloth on my head, that usually does the trick. If it's a tension headache, Motrin is fabulous. If it's a migraine headache, nothing helps (I can't even have headache tablets as I usually vom them up!) but laying down in a dark, quiet room and pray for a quick recovery!

I take aleve but if its major pain killer

When I get a headache before I take anything I take a few minutes to just sit and take a couple of deep breaths and gently rub both temple areas of my head. If the headache last for more than 30 minutes I take Tylenol.

Whenever I have a headache I take Goody or BC Powder....It knocks out a headache fast for me!!!

I use Peppermint oil!  It gets rid of the worst headaches within 5 minutes.  I LOVE my oils.  I use doTERRA essential oils, I cannot say enough good things about using oils!
