Yes, we usually sit around watching the Lions game while the dinner is being prepared.

We usually start the day with the Thanksgiving Parades and March of the Wooden Soldiers.

Football is a must on Thanksgiving! Anyway my family always thinks it is! Nothing wrong with some good food, family and a little entertainment!

I love American Football.  I only played my senior year in high school but wish I played all 4 years and had gone on to play college ball and the NFL.  I used to watch football and as a kid, I would bet a quarter on the games.  A quarter back then was enough to afford to go to the movies on the military base where we lived.  For years I would get into watching the NFL & College games on TV.  Things all changed when TV all went to Cable & Satelite and it was no longer available through Free Broadcasting when all you needed was an antenna to catch local programing and syndicated stations ABC, CBS and NBC.  I miss the Thanksgiving games, Monday Night Football and even the SuperBowl games!  Life just got too complicated with work, family and kids to be setting in front of the tube all day.  But, can't help but to miss it every now and again!  It has probably been 20 years since I have watched a game from start to finish!  GOD Bless, have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I wouldn't exactly say that I "watch" football on Thanksgiving, but given all the guys in attendance at our family gathering, there are football games on in at least one room.  I'll occasionally wander in an out, but really don't care about whatever game is on - just something to pass the time for me.

It depends on who is playing. I usually work on Thanksgiving, but I work from home and might tune in occasionally.

I am not a Football fan.  I have never understood why guys want to beat the hell out of each other just to catch or run with an oval ball.
