Screenwise Trends
« on: November 22, 2013, 07:38:20 pm »
I was just wondering what others thought about this? It is found under the FC Surveys. I attempted to complete this offer but I ended up clicking out of it. It is something that is associated with Google. After reading the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy, it just seemed like there would be too much personal information for them to track. Has anyone tried this yet? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Edit: I see it's also found under the new offers tab.

Anyone who knows their way around computers can see what you're doing. I wouldn't worry too much about Google, they just keep track of things that will help you in the future, like what things you search for in order to provide you with more of the results you're looking for.

I attempted to take this offer but did not qualify. I think that you must have a smart phone or iPad. I have the iPad but I have first generation and I think that my operating system did not qualify. I was disappointed that I could not join.  :(

I think there are too many things tracking us today.  I hate it that my daughter lets people track were she is on her phone.  That is like the commercial for farmers "I am vacation and a thief says Have fun"  or something like that.  We have to be careful God Bless

I did not have a smartphone nor an iPad either. But I was able to complete this offer. I'm using windows operating system. I was able to qualify to join.

I wasn't able to do this survey because my internet froze in the middle of it so it messed the survey up and then later on I tried to do it but after you've done any survey it says that you  already done it.

It's also found under the new offers. You may try to click it on there.

They are getting too much information, and I would not want to do this anyway.

I put in my phone OS and it said I didn't qualify buy after researching the program I tried again and I tried selecting the highest OS and it passed me through. Once there the proper info was put in and I was qualified. I took part and got credited from FC. Curious if they will actually payout as advertised though. Looks like it might have to be installed for several months to earn the min.

I am reading the T & C on these sites more carefully know since so many of them apply tracking cookies and/or collect more private info than I wish to give.  Some also say that they will track your internet use (like Neilson and others.) So, you do need to decide if you want to give permission for this. Guess, for me, that would be a show stopper or rather, a survey stopper.

I did everything it said but I never found the email I was suppose to get to verify my information.  I tried it again and still nothing I think I am doing something  wrong, I think Google is a good reputable business so I am willing to try it.  If I can complete it I will let you know how it goes.
