What is your favorite part during Thanksgiving? Is it the food, family gathering, sitting back and relaxing, preparing the big dinner, etc.? What do you enjoy?

Well for me I just enjoy that day. Not food at all. I have no relative around me here
except my husband site but he never want to invite or join them on any occasion what so ever
and kind of me felt so lonely and undesirable of doing things or going anywhere. I never enjoy food never. Growing up I like to do something instead of eating and I always complaint about eating or food. Yeah some how we need to eat food in ordered to run that day. :) ;) :D ;D :( :( :turkey: :turkey:

I enjoy the "family gathering".  It seems it's really the only time the "entire" family gets together under one roof!!!!

My best part is sharing what you are thankful of.  We gather around the Thanksgiving Feast display of colorful food smells and we listen to everybody's thankfulness and recite thankfulness business into our Thanksgiving dinner prayer.

Being with my family.  Lots of good food, My brother has a large family what with the grandkids and it helps being with them and keeps me from missing my own 2 boys who have passed away for awhile now. I still have a lot to be thankful for though. Also very thankful for the years they were here.

I really love the time I get to spend with my family, or at least I used to. nowadays there so many people shopping on thanksgiving. So now I will not be able to have a holiday because I will be working. Terrible! :( :bad: >:(

The best part about Thanksgiving (other than time off school) is spending time with my family and eating until we can't eat any more ^___^

For me it's the fellowship of being together with my family, that feeling of closeness, just knowing that my family is alive and well and we are able to get together one more time. Also the food, I enjoy cooking so during Thanksgiving I try to find new and interesting recipes that my family will food.   :turkey:

My favorite part is when the family all gathers at my mom and dad's house just enjoying each other's company. The food is a big part of it also because we usually make things that we wouldn't make on a regular basis. I'm thinking of making a new dessert that I haven't made before and I'm excited. I'm also excited about what others will be bringing.
