Do you have a pet?

I have a dog who is 11 years old and he is the greatest animal. He asks when he wants to go out by either giving a bark while he stands at the door. or gets his nose and pushes your arm and if you ask him if he has to go out he runs for the door. I also have a bird cockatiel he is so cute that he chatters when we are talking just to get in the conversation and when he is out of food he smacks his beak on his dish so you know it is empty. He also repeats his name to you and if you tell him a story he says "really" and if he don't hear what you say he says"what" he whistles and says many things but I think those are the cutest.

Pet's are so wonderful...they provide so much comfort...little blessings from God...they become a huge part of our family...I have 2 cats...just this past wk. had to put my sweet Sylvester to sleep...had him for 14 yrs. and now his buddy (brother) is searching the house for him...I adopted them both when they were only 10 wks. old...and I took in a feral cat about 12 yrs. ago...my heart hurts...it's just not the same without him...no way it could be...right... I believe he is in heaven now

I did have 2 cats until someone took them and transported from the area. I have not seen them in almost 3 months and I'm terribly heartbroken.  Just hoping they are ok

Yes. I have always had at least one pet ever since I was a baby. Right now I have three, all dogs. I don't think I could stand not having at least one pet, especially a dog.

I have three wonderful pets 2 dogs and a pop bellied pig. The pig's name is Nelly and the dogs are Lady and Kilo.

 :cat:Yes, I have a cat named Emmy.  Her name was Emma when I got her but I changed it.  I got her from a shelter.  someone had put her under the hood of their car and started the car.  She is the dearest cat, I don't know how they could have done it.  She's 9 yrs old now.

I have two golden retrievers aged three and four and couldn't imagine life without them!  They sleep with me at night.  One is like a headboard in bed and the other one spoons me!  Whenever we go on vacation the dogs come with us.  We just got back from three days in the mountains and they went every where with us! Vail, Colorado is so dog friendly! We were able to bring the dogs into grocery stores, bars, restaurants and Movie theaters.  Everybody was so friendly and constantly asking if the could pet our dogs.  It is going to be hard for them when we go back to work tomorrow and they have to hang at home!

We did have 5 gold fish at our past apartment.  Never bought anymore and when the last one died, we just took apart the tank. So no I don't have any pets currently.  My hubby and I aren't home enough to take care of pets.

We have a dog...half beagle/half dach named Penny.She is almost 8 yrs old.My son rescued her 6 yrs ago from a family where she was eating cat food and not fixed......When we got her we got her updated medically and she eats like a queen now.She sleeps with my wife and me in our bed.Good thing im older now.....<snicker>

I've got a cat and a dog, who both love each other. It's so cute. Pets are the best.

i have a 9 yr old cat indoors (my profile pic) ... also have a 6 month old kitten that we found on the verge of death that we bottle fed til he got better.  he lives outdoors, along with five feral cats that will come up and eat but not let you get close enough to touch them.  the kitten however will kiss on you and head bonk you all day long if you let him!
