Payment Revoked
« on: November 15, 2013, 02:45:18 am »
I just received notification from Fusion Cash that my payment for a survey has been revoked. The amount was $1.60

Federated Routed Survey has revoked payment for your signup.

I can not quite remember which survey this was.

Does anyone else remember this offer or survey?

Yep, I had a $2.30 revoked from September that I had already been paid on... So annoying.

I agree that it's frustrating to have credit revoked for a survey that you took months ago.  However, I find it even more annoying to complete a survey and then have to wait days, weeks or even months to receive credit.  I would much rather receive credit immediately and take the chance of it being revoked later.  Ultimately it just depends on the advertiser's policy.  Some don't issue credit until they've reviewed your answers, this results in you having to wait for credit from FC (they can't pay you until they get paid).  Some advertisers issue credit immediately and then later review your answers and potentially revoke credit if they don't like the results.  All in all I'm pretty happy with the system.  Every few months or so I might have a credit revoked, but it's fairly rare.  It bothered me the first time it happened because I kind of felt like I was being accused of cheating but I've learned to just go with the flow and be happy for all the money I'm able to earn on here on a regular basis.

I had one with that title for only $.75 but it hasn't been denied. Mine was from November 6 but I have no idea what it was about

"Federated Routed Survey" is what you get credited for - sometimes - when you DQ out of a regular FC survey and get redirected to another one.  A "Survey Router" is the industry term for what we call "Daily Surveys" (e.g. AmpSurveys, LiveSample, etc).  So basically, sometimes you get redirected to the "Federated Routed Survey" which is similar to daily surveys, with the main difference being that your reward amount varies with the complexity of the survey.

With all of that said, krissi26 nailed it on the head-- you can wait 4-6 weeks or longer for survey credit and have no revokes, or get credit faster and have revokes in the end.  The way we do it has these frustrating moments of revokes (and believe me, we are losing money as well and are not pleased).  But the upside is that you can build up your balance and cashout sooner, faster, and more often this way.

Revokes like these are typically because the survey provider disqualified your responses after review.  They might throw out the 5% fastest completions, or DQ folks who they determined to be ineligible due to participating in other surveys or because of inconsistent answers.  There are a lot of reasons that revokes might happen and (because they have to protect the integrity of their clients' research) they do not provide us with reasons why a particular specific survey completion was revoked.  (A malicious person might use such information to improve their attacks or exploitation).

Thanks for the info. You have answered my questions.

Looks like you were unsubscribed from our emails around June of this year.  Not sure why.  I re-subscribed you and you will get future notices.  Sorry for that.

The administrator has jumped in and responded very clearly to my post. I can remember what survey it was now. I was attempting a Samplicious survey and was disqualified. i was asked if I wanted to try another and I said yes. I was directed to another survey which was very long. I had no idea what the credit would be or if I would even get credited. I completed the survey and was delighted when I got $1.60. I had never received so much for a survey and  even posted about this on forum.

Can you believe that this is now the one revoked?  :BangHead:  Cruel irony.

One thing that concerns me is that the survey company might throw out the fastest 5% completions. Some people might just read and work faster than others. Some persons who are in the fastest 5% might just be seconds faster than the next group where surveys were not thrown out.

Also, people tire while taking surveys. 20 minutes is a long survey. it is easy to make a mistake and say Yes when you meant No or check off the wrong box.

I am not happy about this but C'est La Vie. I hope that this will not happen too often. I will still continue to attempt and take surveys.

If you will go up about five posts, you will see that the administrator jumped in and responded very clearly and thoroughly.

No one will ever have to revoke my credit for working too quickly.  I'm probably the slowest survey taker that's a member here.  I'm always amazed at how much longer it takes me than the time stated in parenthesis.  I know I'm slow, but I'm sure I also try to be too thorough if there is such a thing.  I would like to thank the administrator for responding so quickly and thoroughly in the thread above.  That type of response from our admin team makes me love this site all the more.  We have people here who truly care, take time to explain and resolve our issues when they come up!
