Statue in your town

Do you have a statue in your town?  We have several in the DFW metro mess and probably the most sought after by the visiting tourists is the display of the wild mustangs in Irving, Texas.

The town I grew up in had this memorial put on the main highway in honor of local vet's.  It's meaning is relevant and missed through our town as it's an eye sore but - at least there is something to memorialize the event...

There is a guy on the town square on a horse.......that' about it.....

There's a large statue of a fisherman pulling a net by the marina and an large anchor by the civic center.

Yes, it is kind of a small town, but not that small -- Janesville, Wisconsin.  There is 1 statue that I know of for some general from World War II that I guess was from the area.
