What is the best thing to do if you are suffering form menopause. I am hot one minute and cold the next. I am turning the heater on and off which is not good so what shall I do?

Go to the doctor to get a good check up.  She/he may have suggestions for you.  Also, regular excercise, cutting out caffeine and getting good rest helps. But, ugh, the hot flash things is a real pain and yes, it eventually gets better.  And, no, your head will not explode from the heat.  I went through it for about three years before it got better but I didn't do any hormone therapy either.  Sorry sister.  Just one of those things women are blessed with. Hang in there!  This can also cause that jittery feeling you mentioned in an earlier post.
