Accused of having Pot

what a hilarious situation we have been placed in. Dear Recent Facebook friends,

Anyways xD Last week I bought Ramen and chopsticks.. BUT I didn't have a POT. So, I posted about my lame action xD because that's just how I am. In return a friend from highschool who also attends UCI commented that I can have one of hers. So she left me a message on my wall when she was at the library with my "pot to be" saying I can pick it up. And I asked if she had my number so she could text me when she got out. She commented and said, delete this comment after you save my number. Obviously, no one wants to be prank called. XD

Well, today in class I got text from her saying, SOMEONE yes someone on my end reported that she was dealing with marijuana. Well.. xD Who ever did that does not know me, which I can't blame. Anyways, my friend was interrogated and it ended with laughs. Now I just have to confirm with them that it was "pot" as in a pot for my Ramen. Not the other kind that neither of us has ever even touched. Soooo. LOLOLOLOL

And she (as in I) is a Happy Camper. LMBO #collegefreshmenmishaps

Some people don't understand the short slang we sometimes use and they can misunderstand the usage but I guess people who know you all had a good laugh.  Thanks for sharing!

Some just know be better than others, and there are a few that I just met here in college. XD

  Well glad you didn't have any problems come out of it although I will say that I don't find anything wrong with either kind of pot.  The kind you make ramen noodles in or the kind you smoke.  Its stupid its a plant and I think we've got a lot more important things to worry about but then that is just my opinion.

That's what happens when words can be mistranslated or taken out of context. Luckily your friend didn't have anything to get in trouble with otherwise the person wouldn't be laughing. Sorry to hear your friend got in the situation still.

It's a funny story, but it's sad about all the fuss and inconvenience over something so trivial.
