I rely on myself. Its hard to trust people now a days so i only rely on me, myself, and I. I get what I need, I do what I gotta do, and I do it by myself.

My Best Friend has literally been thru THICK AND THIN with me... I have had others I talk to, but by far, her and I have carried each other thru life.... I have been best friends with her for 24 years and I cannot imagine a single day without her.

It would have to be my dad, he raised me since I was 2 and he was the one person who always believed in me and taught me how to survive. I miss him so much, it has been 2 years since he passed and I still feel sad at times but I am glad I have my son who thinks I am the best mom ever. lol

My late grandmother was my supporter, and I relied on her a lot.  She has been gone for 24 years and I miss her.  If she was here, I would have to suffer for anything.  But there are times that you have to rely on yourself.  It shows you that you are a survivor.  You will never know what you can do unless you try.

The only other person I relied on (growing up) besides my Mom was my oldest sister. Maybe even more than my Mom at a certain point in my life.

Absolutely my mother. She has always been there for me, going above and beyond. But that's what mothers do. I feel the same way about my kids.

I relied on my husband for so much and was devastated when he passed away.  He had been in great health until a sudden and unexpected diagnosis of Cancer, treatment, and subsequent system failure.  There was really no time to prepare.  Everyone should make sure to have a written list of whom to call (& phone numbers) for home maintenance/repair functions and replacement items and to keep them updated as new appliances & vehicles are purchased.  A special file for warranties and equipment instructions also will be helpful.

It  was  a  close  race  between  my grand dad  and  my mom.  If  I wanted  the pro and cons, I would  go  with  my grand dad  but  if  I wanted  the pros  went with mom.  I miss them  every day lost both  of  them  4 years  ago  one  in  Jan  and one  the day after Thanksgiving.

Its gonna be 35 years i am married to my wonderful wife.I have gotten to appreciate her more getting older.We are so stupid when we are younger.I can see where the expression "old and wise"comes from.

Honestly, myself. I have very little family (they are abusive) and have the entire burden of my household on me since my husband became disabled shortly after we married 8 years ago. I have no one but myself to turn to and so far am ok, just hope it stays that way.

I would say my mother has been my voice of reason and my biggest cheerleader in life when I didn't believe in myself.  I have some very supportive friends too, but they're often "yes" people sometimes too.  Wait a minute.  My mother is like that too...
