Is there any other way beside facebook or twitter to get referral?

Hey guys just a quick question. Where else or what else should I do so I
can get referral beside facebook and twitter?
Can you guys help me out here on how you get your referral?
My facebook and twitter is carbbage. Everyday I post my referral link and the
banner but no one interested. I even post the explaination but yet no one sign
up. And same as twitter.
Any other places that I post my referral link and banner?
Do really appreciate and feed back...

Forums specifically designed to talk about online money making. But really, you shouldn't devote an extreme amount of effort to gaining referrals, as most won't earn you very much, if anything.

I think you can do referrals by email if I'm not mistaken. But be careful you do it right. I did it once and my daughter signed up and I didn't get credit for it. I don't know what happen.

I have never gotten a referral from the requests I have made. I won't ask just anybody as it would annoy them. I try to choose people who *might* sign up, but they don't.

If you're a part of a different PTC or traffic exchange site, you might want to advertise there... I know some people will use a PTC site just for the advertising; if they make any money from that PTC site, they just dump the profits into advertisements. You might consider getting your own blogging site (many are free), and use that site in your advertisements. That way you can really go into detail about why you like FC or strategies for earning money on FC, instead of just advertising your referral link on some PTC site. People tend to skip looking into sites if they are sent directly there, but are more willing to give it a try if the ad feels more like it is coming from some helpful person that is willing to help them get started. If your really ambitious, you can use that blog to comment about other sites that you are active with, having a separate blog page for each site. Eventually you might get a following of people that will purposefully go to your blogging site to read on the latest site that you have reviewed. If they like and believe what you have to say, they will trust you when you mention a new site, and will be eager to join under you once again. So now instead of just getting a referral for just one site, you might get a referral for all the sites you belong to.

See if you can pick OldBuddy's brain. He's been on FC for awhile, has a bunch of referrals, and has a few sites that mention FC along with some how-to videos for making money on here.
