He is good when he has shows on with celebrities, but when he has shows of family members staying at the dr phil house, i believe that's alittle bit too much.

His shows are entertaining to watch. Not sure if they are actually helpful.

Jerry Springer and Maury Povich are still on and it doesn't get much lower than that! :o

And I'm not a big fan of his show or his wisdom, however his latest book seems like it would be very good.

In my opinion, he is all for show and really the show in itself is quite ridiculous! It just has an aura insincerity, that just turns me right off of it.

Got something going for him. He must make a ton of money! I do ignore his show and when he was on Oprah.

i love dr phill.  it always makes me feel better about my life when i see all the train-wrecks on there however i have learned some good things from some of his shows on raising children and his relationship books have a lot of truths.  i think that dr phill is far better then maury who i used to love but now every show is about chicks who cant keep their legs shut and dont have a clue who the father of their baby is.

Dr. Phil is not on my top ten (or maybe even twenty) list of of favorite shows, but his talk show is by far a lot better than most of them out there. He is at least willing to provide resources to help people that need it. I will give him that.
