I haven't had a float in a long time, but I used to love to make floats with vanilla ice cream and Faygo Fruit Punch. I thought those were delicious since the fruit punch blended nicely with the vanilla ice cream and gave it a nice flavor. Strangely I really didn't so much like the fruit punch by itself, but with the float it was awesome.

I like root beer and coke. It depends on what taste I want. Root beer has that certain old fashioned taste. Coke floats are a little milder I guess. I love both.

I like Root beer or coke floats.  But I'll use vanilla or macadamia nut ice cream.  Haven't tried with other flavors of ice cream.  hhmmm maybe ill try pistachio/coke float next.
