I like my grilled cheese sandwich lightly buttered and pan toasted. My fav cheese is Colby Jack or Cheddar, and I like a lot of cheese.  I can taste it now.

I butter the bread and place in the pan then add cheese then butter the other piece of bread and put it on top. mmmm! I also loved grilled peanut butter sandwiches made the same way (with peanut butter instead of cheese)

I like mine done in a skillet on top of stove. I also use two slices of Velveeta cheese or two slices of Kraft deluxe cheese. Sometimes I use 1 slice of each cheese. I spread a little dab of pickle juice and a tidbit of mayonaise inside. It is delicious.

I just love lightly buttered toast, a thin layer of cheese and a little bit of thinly sliced onion on my toast.  I lightly grill this until the cheese melts and goes all brown and bubbly.  I have burnt  my mouth  many a time eating as soon as it came out of the broiler!  My brother in law used to add a little brown sauce to give it a kick!

Lots of butter and cheese.

I butter both sides of each bread slice so that it gets golden crispy on the outside and all melty on the inside.

Lots of cheese and even a mix of cheese types is great!
