I'd rather take a test.  I'm a pretty good test taker as long as I study the material.  I'm good at memorizing stuff.  I used to hate writing long papers.  I got good grades but the process is just awful.

I'd rather take a test. I get writer's block when trying to write a paper.  :BangHead:

I'm rather take a test than write a paper. It takes me too long to gather info and write something.  I'd rather take a test and get it over with.

I am of the old school where we all took tests.  I really didn't mind them except in a class where I really wasn't interested in what was being written.
I think if you really pay attention in class and read, the tests shouldn't be too bad, but I know some people freeze up and forget what they know.

I would rather take a test because if I study for it I will have no problems with it and I like to write a paper also but I sometimes may get writer's block

Writing a paper is easier for sure.  HOwever, i like the challenge of test questions and figuring out how to eliminate possible answers and narrowing them down to either 1 or 2, obviously in hopes of making the best educated answer possible.  I am have my MBA and am a CPA.

For the most part, it would be writing a paper because I've always been "talented" that way, but if the test were meaningful to me and would give me a heads up on my career, I'd have to go with the test.

I would much rather write a paper!!! I actually am pretty good at papers I usually get an A I am not trying to sound conceited I am just shocked!!! I do spend hours and hours on them because I am paranoid plus I want an A. But you can predict a paper better, you can perfect it. With a test you can study and study for hours over tons of material but the one or two part you skip those are on the test and take a 20 point test like don't know 3 or 4 thats it your already doing bad. I wish my grades were not so heavily on tests =( I wish we could do more papers!!! I mean I do a lot of papers but they are worth a lot less unfortunately =(

For me it depends on the subject. In school I was pretty good at english, social studies, etc. So I could write papers on those and likely get a good grade. But for other topics (ie foreign language) I would rather study for a test as I wouldn't feel as confident in writing an entire paper on those subjects. If I just had to choose I would just likely take a test since it would probably take not as much time as writing a good paper.

I like to take a test for the thrill of it, but writing a paper is more easier and a sure way to get good grades, if you put the time and effort into it.,

I definitely say write a paper. Test make me nervous. I can recall info a lot better writing it out than answering questions.

When I was in college I was good at writing papers and got good grades on them but taking tests was never a problem either.  It would all depend on the specific class as with some classes I would rather write a paper and others I would rather take a test.

I don't like doing either. I guess it would depend on the subject matter, the rules, time limits, and so on. But, I guess I'd rather take a test if I had to choose. But since I don't, then.... NEITHER!  ;)
