My children are 7 and 9. They want to know why my husband is furloughed and receiving no pay whilst the government is on shut down and receiving full pay. Why is is that all parties are willing to talk but no talks are actually happening. Why is it that BO refers to the shutdown as a Republican Shutdown yet it takes two parties to have a disagreement and not talk. One party cannot not talk!!!!

This is a fact:  Boehner and his Republican counterparts are happy because they think they are hurting President Obama with this governmental shutdown, but what about the rest of us?  I think it stinks.  They claim to be working for the American people, but neither one of them plans to budge on this.  I am mad because I am one of the American people and we don't deserve what they are doing to us.  It is hard to explain to a child that "Daddy can't get paid, but the government we elected are making sure they get theirs."

I hear ya loud and clear!!!  But, I THINK OUR GOVERNMENT - EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM (with the exception of just a Handful) NEED TO BE REPLACED and I THINK TERM LIMITS ARE NEEDED DESPERATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have some things to say about our glorious leader! Shutting down the commissaries was just wrong! Our soldiers need more support and their government benefits should continue allow with their paycheck. Shutting down a State Highway in South Dakota to keep people from seeing Mt Rushmore has nothing to do with Federal Spending. How much extra money was paid for the guards to shut down the road and turn people away. Why increase spending by shutting down a State Highway? There are so many holes in the shutdown, it leaks like a sieve. Stop crying about the Obamacare act and do some comprising!

I wonder how everyone feels about the Immigration Protest that was ALLOWED on the mall, yet Veterans are being turned away from their own Memorial?  AMERICANS are being locked out of what BELONGS TO US, and yet, illegals are allowed to protest for rights they have no rights to!  C'mon, people, don't you see that this administration is TRYING to HURT AMERICANS and AMERICA???  If the Whiner-In-Chief doesn't get his way like a 3-year old having a temper tantrum, he will CONTINUE to do ignorant things to the rest of us just to purposely hurt this country.  They need more than just "term limits," they need to be thrown out of office, recalled, rid of.  This is, by far, THE worst administration in the history of the U.S.A.

It's not the Republicans happy with the shutdown and refusing to talk.  It's Obama and the Democrats that flat out refuse to talk and the Senate won't pass any of the bills that the House has passed.  Even if they did Obama would veto them.  The Democrats want the shutdown so they can blame it on the Republicans.  They have no interest in the country, only the next election.  They're getting away with blaming the Republicans because the main stream media is another arm of the Democratic party so the truth is being twisted and distorted.

This is not right. BO, and the Democrates will not budge on anything but it is all the Republicians fault.  The so called pres, has been in power for almost 5 years now and still no balanced budget, (he won't even sit down and talk about it.) All his way or no way.  I often wonder who is behind him pushing to ruin this country, it sure isn't the Americian public.  I for one did not vote for him. I listened to Mitt Romney when he said this is what was going to happen in one of his speeches, right down to the shutdown. I hope to heck we can get rid of ob and all of his democratic cronies. Some of them in 2014 bfefore ruins us cometley.

My opinion is that we need to throw them all out and vote average people in office that KNOW what life is all about and KNOWS how hard it is to pay bills and make a living by working. We need OUR kind of people in office. Not no high class or someone WITH money to be in office, but just an average american like us. Doubt that will ever happen so I would say this country is worst than it ever has.. well I blame them all.... BUT whoever is highest in this country ought to have the say about this shutdown AND should be able to DO something about it. I hear that govt is shut down cuz we ran out of money.. DAH!!!... STOP HGELPING OTHER COUNTRIES AND GIVING OUT MONEY TO HELP EVERYONE ELSE! HELP AMERICA FIRST! GOD BLESS THIS COUNTRY CUZ NOONE ELSE WILL!  Im so ashamed of our govt and our president.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I HATE POLITICS!  IM NOT SAYING NO MORE. I'm tired of the same old story and the constant bickering and procrastination by our politicians. It doesn't seem it matters anyone who we elect as our government seems to constantly get themselves in these binds.
