I don't even pay any attention to Christmas until December.

I like to keep the holidays simple so I usually give cash.  I really love the music, the holidays movies on DVDs and that special feeling including the first snowflakes; however, I refuse to participate in the hustle, bustle and stress of the season.

Have a great day!

I'm really into Christmas but it's a little early for me. I have thought about starting a little shopping just so that I don't end up frantic at the end. But other than that I'd like to enjoy the beautiful fall weather instead.

My question is where did the first 9 months g?.  It seems some kind of escalation was placed on speed and looky there it's October already.  Stores have been putting out Christmas decos since July and now it's in full swing.  In the past I always enjoyed Christmas, but not anymore.  My joy is gone.

I don't have anything to get ready for. Not shopping. Might not even be able to make anything "special" for lunch/dinner. I hope I can still put up some lights though, even if I can't do as many as I'd really like to. I'm hoping it's not terribly cold this winter.

I'm ready for it as far as loving Christmas, enjoying the cold, and hearing/seeing decorations, lights, etc., just about everywhere.  As far as gifts and cooking/baking, I'm nowhere near ready, lol!
