I agree, a deal will be struck. May be stubborn and have it shut down for a couple days, but it won't last. Why do these politicians have such a power trip anyway?

I say shut it down.  If nothing else, the American people will get a break from all of the ***-clowns in our government!

Yeah it gets scary when they say that the government going to shut down.  Usually they want to cut off the checks to people on Social Security which scares me because that is the only income my family has which is my husband I don't have an income.  I heard that the politicians say well they could get jobs working online, what kind of job is there online that would make a monthly income like that I can't find one they are just full of crap why don't they start with there income they make so much that would cut the budget down I think they should make more than the minimum wage but they don't need not make three figure income a year we don't get that.  They control what we make start with them selves instead of disabled and elderly or retired people.

I love how people are resorting to blackmail or extortion to get what they want.  Isn't that illegal or something?  This is supposed to be different sides working together for the nation, not a hostage negotiation so you can prove you are in control.  I mean, not everyone is happy with Obama Care, but really, this is what we've come to.

I'm happy that having a black president has given Americans an opportunity to see the true colors of our government. We have already had a couple of scares prior to this. Whenever they don't agree with his choices, the threat of a shutdown occurs. Grow up America.....( But this is supposedly the land of the free)

Awesome, another chance to play the race card. Sad, really. The reality is that unless congress raises the debt limit, the government will be forced to shutdown. The mere fact that we are having these debates speaks volumes to the failures of congress and of this president.

Why they can't work together is beyond me. Isn't that what they were voted to do. Our so called president will not work with anyone. After all he know all and spends all. This is so stupid. And we still don't have a balanced budget. What is it with this bozo.
