Gas Prices
« on: September 24, 2013, 10:50:35 am »
What are gas prices like were your at ?

Here it's risen up 40 cents in two weeks to a woping 4.25 a gallon. Wish it go down this time of year is a pain to keep gas in the tank & its about to swing into the holidays which will be more of a pain because it will probably go up even more.

Gas prices In texas go up and down all the time..
It will bounce around from almost $4 back down to $3 something back up to close to $4 again and back down.. It's almost like a roller coaster ride with gas prices.. It can be down one day and up the next. Gas Gauging is becoming more hip because i know the 711 next to my house does it.. He puts his up the highest price than anyone else. I got to the point where i did ask him about the price and he replied with " we do not make the gas prices the goverment does" LOL.. that was the biggest line of bullcrap i have ever heard.. But i guess he thinks we are all ignorant and do not know the truth.. Anyways Our Gas here is about $3.12-$3.29 depending on where you refuel. It's sad to see a shell beat a 711 on gas prices though because usually shell has the highest prices.. Spazzz.. I figure if a gas station put their gas price to $2 they would get alot of buisness.. It wouldn't really matter that they are only charging $2 because the outcome would be More People coming.. You get more people coming then it's literally paying for itself...Maybe i'm wrong.. But who knows.. I have always had that as a mindset...

I think around $3.40 for 85. I don't really pay much attention since I only have to gas up every 2-3 weeks.

Gas down south where I live is 3.05 per gallon. The highest I have ever paid was 3.80 per gallon. We thought it would go up to or over 4.00 but lucky for us it did not. That was last year. This year our gas prices have not been so bad. This is the lowest they have been in months.

Just dont understand it! Within 20 miles of me we have 7 gas stations. there are4 with prices 3.30 a galllon. Then the other 3 are 3.56 a gallon. How can they get away with this crap??  Soon it will be going sky high until after the tourists get to see the foilage. Then it will go back down til the holidays.. :BangHead: Just another money making thing.

Prices go up and down in life. Besides, the cost of gasoline is about twice as much as we're paying in the states. So, I guess were still getting a bargain compared to other countries. :o

I live in Texas and right now the cheapest price for gas is $3.29. However, it changes every week - up, down, up, down. Still, gas prices are way too high and the big oil companies are getting rich. >:(

Gas here in southwestern Minnesota went down to $3.39 yesterday....

The price does go up and down a lot.  That is why I belong to a Cash Back Shopping Community where I get cash back and LOYALTY REWARDS when I buy gas ...as well as when I buy groceries and most everything I buy on a normal basis.

Free to join....you just need an invitation.
