But Funny!  My daytime gig laid off one hundred and fourty people two weeks ago and is getting ready to lay off another thirty.  They have based it on seniority which is kind of crazy because it allows the weak employees to retain their position and continue their slovenly work ultimately leading to a further demise for the company with it's clients. Error numbers are up and production is down.  Hmm I wonder why that is?  Because they didn't take time to think their lay offs out. In my department we lost ten people.  I could have kept two of those people and let go fourteen people.  My industry is starting to crack...glad I have worked so hard for the last year!

I got a fortune cookie once that didn't have a fortune in it.  My daughter said that meant I was going to die.  I said at least that was one fortune cookie that is correct since everyone will die eventually unless the Lord comes back first!
