Happy First Day of Fall

I'm not happy to see winter coming. Summer never really arrived here and the winter is waay too long!

Oh yeah!  I saw a lovely activity in a magazine a few days ago where someone had collected fall leaves, varying colors.  They stuck them onto an inflated balloon (a few layers), and after it had dried, they popped the balloon. The 'bowl' shaped leaves looked just so festive. I'm definately gonna give this a go.

I love all the changing colors it just shows the majesty of God! and  it getting cooler!
We actually were alittle cooler  yesterday morning and it felt ssssooo good. But the hot is back on today. 
Ready for it to get even lower temperatures though.
  winter too. If Texas can manage to have one this year  that would be so awesome

I am definitely happy we have entered fall for several reasons. I will not list all of them but the main reason now I am even closer to having my baby and the weather is nicer now, being pregnant in the summer was way too uncomfortable so it's nice to get this fall weather!

I love to watch the seasons change. Being from New england I love see the leaves change color . I sort of like the cooler weather but I'm not crazy about the shorter days and less sunshine.

It is getting a lil chilly but really does not feel like fall when we have 90 and 95 degrees days.

Yes, I'm happy about fall it is my favorite time of year. I make the best award winning Pumpkin pie and Pumpkin bread according to my family and friends.
I also carve amazing pumpkins! Call me crazy, but I just bought 8 pumpkins yesterday even though it is alittle early.  looking at the fall leafs changing color too.

My sister turned 50 today.  I gave her birthday wishes from my sister in Oregon and me when I finally spoke to her after 2 pm.  I spent the majority of the summer near the air conditioner, and will be in the room where the heater is when it begins to get cold.  I also wished my nephew happy birthday; he is in Pennsylvania.  I am mixed about the fall season; I have to pack up summer clothes for my grandson and me.   Mainly I am not looking forward to the cold because I live in an old house and it gets really cold between fall and winter.  Otherwise, Happy 1st Day of Fall!
