I honestly think she's going down hill and she should just stop and blame it on Alcoholism and say she'll go to rehab to get better and make a new image for her self because this current image she has isn't what I'd call something to be "proud" of

I think she will keep on until something bad happens. She is just trying to see how much she can get away with. Playboy will be next.

I try not to watch anything related to her.  Publicity is all she is after.

Is it Disney that is corrupting all of these kids??  How many former Disney stars have turned out trashy??

I don't think it is specifically Disney that corrupts child stars.... Rather it is more that the fame and money corrupts kids, esp. since they get too much too soon and haven't matured enough to properly value it. Look at Amanda Bynes (child star from Nicelodeon) or even Drew Barrymore who weren't child stars from Disney, but still had troubles with alcohol and drugs in the wake of their childhood stardom. Speaking of, I'm glad that Barrymore has turned herself around from her troubled past. Hopefully these more recent stars will do the same.

BTW, I also agree with others that people probably wouldn't have made such a big deal about it except for the fact that they were A) a childhood star, B) had a clean image when they were younger,  and C) they still have a following of children that remembered their past image. For example, Miley's latest stunts are similar to things that Lady Gaga or Madonna would have done, but more focus is placed on it since it is more of a surprise that Miley would do something so shocking whereas it is more expected from the other two singers.

i dont agree with the way she made the video, but the sad thing is these day is that what sells........she is ok at singing but all singers do what they can to get attention, which means more money in the long run.....

Without the Lord and His standards, there are none....they just change as you 'feel'.....she will go down the road of construction....Satan has come to steal, kill, and destroy.  He's really good at it.
She needs God!

Just see her in the present... your little  girl who has or are looking up to her, should no longer be doing so.

I did not and will not watch the video.  I don't read or watch anything that has her in it or on it.   She is a nasty skank hoe and is totally disgusting in any pictures or videos I accidentally see of her.

I am personally weirded out by the video to the highest extent. I do, however, like the song itself. It's not about getting drunk or partying. No, it has a bit of meaning to it, and it's a pretty catchy tune.

Dilly-dally, shilly-shally.

That's a good question. About Cher I do not know because I was a child when her and Sonny were starting out. Alanis I do not know much about her.

I know about the video but haven't really watched it. She's naked on a wrecking ball... and? I don't watch award shows, so I still haven't seen her performance on the VMA's. If you're not into something, don't seek it out. She's an adult, a young adult, but an adult none the less. Being naked in a vid is not new. People really just need to get over themselves and get off their high horses.

As far as kids are concerned, as far as I know, she doesn't have any, so it's not her job to behave a certain way to help raise your kids. Your job is not to shield your kids from everything. Your job as a parent is to prepare your kids for what might be out there when you're not around. She's doing her job as an entertainer, you do your job as a parent.

It does seem a lot of Disney stars have been going from sweet to strange. Maybe they're being advised behind the scenes to do whatever it takes, to keep people talking about them. With celebs, any attention is better than no attention...and she is certainly getting attention. :peace: :icon_rr:

Shows that she'll do anything to promote her music and be in the spotlight.
