The only time I really crave something sweet is after dinner every evening. Then I want a cookie or a piece of pie or cake or something like that.

I also have a tendency to crave something sweet combined with caffeine.  Chocolate, Pepsi throwback, Coffee with honey are 3 things that I reach for.  Sugar and caffeine stimulate the thyroid so we can "rev up our engine" and get our metabolism going.  It's fairly common for people who have an under active thyroid and/or under active adrenals to crave stimulants.  The problem is that those foods can spike blood sugar so our glucose and triglyceride levels end up being too high.  I'm still searching for a legal stimulant that doesn't mess up my blood sugar.

Have a great day!

Sometimes I just have to have a candy bar or something sweet.  I know it is not good for me, but I have read that craving something and not eating it will cause you to eat more when you do eat the sweets.

Do anyone enjoy eating sugary foods and carbs, that seem to be
my down fall. I do ok with the rest of the foods, but I like something
Sweet everyday.

What do u like?
I heard last wk. that sugar is 9x as addictive as heroin... :(I believe it...try to go without your sweets for about 3 days and you will go thru a type of withdrawal but if you can hang in there for those 3 days...the cravings should go away  :peace:

I can't go a day without some type of sweets even if it is toast and jelly if I don't have anything else in the house.
Have a wonderful day!
