Christmas cashout :D
« on: September 02, 2013, 07:34:25 pm »
I am saving up my money to cashout at the end of October to help with buying Christmas gifts for my 2 kids :) I have about $76 dollars right now, hope to have over $100 by then. Is anyone else planning on using their FC money to help with Christmas?

I would like to, but I gave so many bills to pay. I will have to

I paid for all of my Christmas presents with the money from my paypal account last year. I have money from multiple sites going into there so I can just cashout regularly and let it build up

If you are active on FusionCash and can reach cashout requirements within roughly two months, why not cashout what you have now, and then cashout a new one on October 31st?  There really is no benefit to letting your earnings sit in your account.  You don't collect any interest.  You'd collect some interest (albeit a miniscule amount) if you deposited the cashout into a savings account until mid-November.  In fact, you actually lose money.  You're losing out on an extra $1.00, since you could submit for the payment pic bonus if you cashed out, which in turn helps reach another cashout faster.

Just a thought to ponder.

I wish I could but I need it to pay bills. It would be a great idea to be on here for that purpose, though. I'm also in grad school so if I didn't need this for monthly expenses I would use it to buy books.

it is a good idea to just let it sit there and save it up.  you can't spend it if its still sitting there.  but just don't let it sit too long and then lose everything you worked for.

I never thought to use FC with a goal in mind, but that's a cool approach to it. Keep in mind that completed offers expire after 180 days, hopefully not relevant to you, but something to watch out for.

This is actually a good way to save for the holiday.  It's sort of like a Christmas Club then.  I think I might just use it for that.  thanks

I too am saving for Christmas, from all the sites I earn from I'm expecting to have almost $100 by Black Friday/Cyber Monday. It won't buy everything I plan on getting the kids but it will be a huge help.
