The Bible, by the Lord.

I thanked your post. That is an excellent book to read no matter what the circumstance.

I am currently reading a book called Hope for Haiti by Eleanor Workman. She tells about how she was freed from an abusive marriage and dedicated her life to helping orphaned and sick babies in Haiti. Her story was very inspirational and touching. I am also reading Heaven Calling, where God speaks to believers everyday of the year based on scriptures. It's an excellent devotional.

Another good book on the subject of the bible is
Left Behind by Tim Lahaye and Jerry Jenkins.  it is a series and available at the library
God Bless

The Holy Bible - King James Version
I begin every morning with prayer and Bible devotions.  I started this routine probably 20 +/- years ago.  I don't know how many times I have read the Bible all the way through but the Lord does!
Have a wonderful day!

Now that I'm retired I read all the time and belong to a book group. I have read a lot of good books. I love romance, mystery, historical, fiction, ..... There are so many great author's an d books that I couldn't choose just one. Debbie MaComber's new book just came out and I want ot get that. I've been watching her "Cedar Cove " series on Hallmark , too.
