How much do you save..?

I am a saver I usually save every penny I can!!! I use money for gas, food little things live at home well now at a University but I have always been like this if I dont need it or can do without it I dont buy it. But Im just wondering how much do you save?

I am proud of you for being a good saver, but I am on the opposite side of the coin. The money just fly.

As a mother of 5 I save where I can but I also enjoy shopping for them so I save on the things I dont care about so much but I buy what I like it kinda evens itself out.

I don't aggressive use coupons or look for anything useful on sale... But I try not to waste money, buying things I don't need or will use

I save a little but am more focused on paying off my student loans.

I saved for seven decades, now I am into spending! I don't throw it away mind you, but I am enjoying what I have saved previously.

I save EVERYTHING.  This isn't just exclusive to money either.  We order take out or something, and I'll save all the little packets of ketchup and mayo we get.  If it comes in a plastic or paper bag, I check if they are damaged and keep them if they are fine.  Twist ties from bread go into a bin, jars are cleaned and stripped of labels, even good cardboard will be saved if I can think of a use for it.

Money wise though, I'm one of those people that I spend only what I absolutely need to and the rest goes into my bank account.  Right now my only bill is my credit card, though I've recently been trying to upgrade my computer system so I can work more easily without fear of spontaneous crashes due to the age of the machine.  It's really nice to have stuff in the bank when it seems like so many people around me are living off the last $20 from their last paycheck.

I save as much as I can. My dad was a tight wad and saved every penny he could, so I learned that from him.  I want to have enough money so that when I retire, I have enough money to live comfortably and not worry where my next dollar will come from.  With the current economic situation, will social security be there when I am 65?!  I am not counting on it.

Since my husband passed away in January and I lost his income as well, I am unable to save anything.  In fact, if it weren't for what my sons and I can earn on the internet, we wouldn't make it through the month for basic living needs and to pay only the most basic of bills.  We do without cable and anything unnecessary and try to do the best we can with grocery costs.  But saving is out of the question

I'm definitely a saver and I try to take advantage of deals as best as I can. Although there are other members of the family who contribute to the family income I still like to set a rule of how much of the monthly expeditures should take out of the cumulative pay checks and divide the remainder to savings and a little for leisure activity.

I save $100 to $200 every two weeks, mostly from money that my sister is paying me back for what she owes me.
