I haven't had a job in years (was laid off my job in December 2003) and did a temp job to make sure I got help in 2005; it lasted 6 months.  Yet I managed to make it this far, thanks to the Lord.  I lucked up last November and got some work at my church.  While it does not pay a lot, it helps me pay my bills and gives me something to do to make myself useful.  I will be 55 a week from now, and intend to register into the senior job program.  God is in the blessing business.  I have been going to school since June 2, 2009 and have 3 courses to go to get my Bachelor's degree in Accounting and my minor degree in Information Systems from Ashford University. I am designated to be through December 2, 2013.  I know it was the Lord, and He got my back.  He may not be there when you want Him to,  but He is always right on time.  While I love the fact that I have a husband, I like having my own money, so I do sites like Fusion Cash to make some extra money.  Besides, my name is on the check.

one door closes another opens, lost one of my jobs but another came about im so gratefull prayers really do work

Idk.  Right now I am pretty frustrated.  I have lost 2 jobs in the past year.  Nothing seems to ever work out.  I am in a bad mood all the time from the stress.  I thought I had a job (not worth a lot but it paid) 2 weeks ago.  But I have yet to be able to start working.  They supposedly approved my unemployment a week ago but I have yet to receive any pay even though they say they deposited it in my bank account last week.  But it never made it to there.  But I have to wait another week before I can even report it as a missing check.

I really hope things work out for you with that.  I can definitely see how frustrated you are.  :)

I'm glad you are able to make enough to cover your bills - that's a stress reliever, for sure!  That is wonderful that you are getting your Bachelor's degree soon!!!  It's a lot of hard work, but you are achieving a big goal doing that!!!  I hope everything goes well for you!  :)

I'm in a similar situation as a couple of you.  I am grateful God has provided a part time opportunity, job wise and medical wise, for a few months.  Now I'll be able to pay my medical bills and procedures, dr. bills, and my prescriptions.

I also just received official word that I have been funded a grant to cover a couple of my major expensive asthma medications, including asthma infusions I have to have once a month!!!  I was going to have to come off of them because of not being able to afford them, but now I will be helped and able to continue them.  A big relief for me, since the infusions have helped to get my asthma/allergies issue under better control, which has given me a more improved quality of life!

I'm sorry to hear about your husband's neck, arm, and back.  Thank you for sharing what God has done for your family, through all of that.
