Problems with RadioLoyalty
« on: August 23, 2013, 02:47:38 pm »
Is anyone having problems with Radio Loyalty. When I go to submit the code to get credit for listening to the radio, it would not let me submit.

Sometime if you have waited too long you have to refresh for a new code.
Also, you may have to try a different browser.  I use FireFox for Radio Loyalty
and Internet Explorer to comment in the forum.

Adobe Flash puts a heavy strain on your PC -- and it is an integral part of running the video ads you see on Radio Loyalty.

I run RL using Chrome on my laptop with 8 Gigabytes working memory.
When I don't have other sites that use Adobe Flash (ie game sites), I don't have problems with RL -- but when I do, Adobe Flash will occasionally crash and/or things slow down.

While I haven't had the particular problem you described (not being able to enter the captcha and/or click on the submit key), I have had problems just typing in the captcha when I used Firefox and IE.  I would type at a normal speed, but the system would skip letters (like it couldn't read what I typed unless I typed slower).   That's when I switched to Chrome.

I did have a problem last night with video captcha for Quick Draw on Hulu -- when I clicked on the window to bring up the captcha, nothing would come up.  Ended up refreshing the captcha to get one that would work.

If I don't respond immediately (within 10 secs) to the captcha when it comes up, I usually refresh the captcha -- that's usually quicker than filling in the one shown and then finding that what I entered was "wrong"  (ie too late) and starting over.

Thanks everyone for responding. I refresh the screen and was allowed to enter and submit the code.

I find that often happens to me too, particularly when I am more than a minute late than the 10 minute timer. It often just peters out and doesn't work at all, even when you keep hitting "Submit" and try over again.

That happened to me about a week ago. I think(if I remember correctly) I rebooted my pc and restarted my FC to fix it.

I found that it helped when I refreshed my screen. Hope it works for you.

the only problem i have had with radiooloyalty is sometimes it goes for over half an hour without a captcha. i gotta kill rl then restart or i can't get any credits. the captchas are always easy to read and they always work when they are there for mje.

Some of the Hulu captchas don't seem to play and thus won't give a code. Otherwise it seems to be working OK.

Today RL has been cutting off for no reason. I don't know how this new setup is going to work for me

I have no problem with radioloyalty itself what I'm having problem is with make out some of those entry that they give us. Some of those with a lot of lines. I am legally blind I can see most of the text but when they get creative with lost of line and extra letter I can't make out a thing.  I have to keep submitting  it until I can make out something. It's very madding. Is anyone having the same problem?
