Myspace or Facebook?

Yeah, I think they put something in the social networking water.

I use to refuse to fall into that mess at all. Then one night I was drunk and websurfing and decided to see what the hype was about (alright, I was just curious to see glimpses into peoples lives... whatever).

I kept coming across peoples pages that I knew and noticed that I could only check them out while logged in. So I went ahead and quickly made a name and made one drunken paragraph in my "about me" (which I haven't changed at all throughout the years).

... then, somehow, over the next few months I decided to add in some more information, then pictures, then people started adding me and commenting me... next thing I knew I was hooked.

So really, my relationship with myspace started kind of like a drunken one night stand that drug out into a long fickle relationship.

Meh... I've woken up with worse though.

I have both - but I used myspace first, then all my friends start switching to FB (or some people already have one); so, I signed up for Facebook also just to keep in touch with them.

Facebook is better but myspace is more widely known.

I have both, but have long since abandoned myspace for facebook. Myspace just seems sleazy to me, and facebook is a lot more professional.

see, i feel exactly the same way.. but opposite ;p
i see facebook as less serious and kindof.. skank? sleazy? lol.
facebook is where i'll pretty much add anyone who wants to be added. myspace is where my REAL friends are.. it feels like home to me, haha.

I have both. Facebook is only viewed by friends. MySpace is good for business (advertising, links, etc) everyone sees your page if it not set to private. Both can be Sleasy or to busy and the likes---You have to make your pages look professional if you intend to use them for leads and references.

I have both and like both of them. I do notice that of my family the older generations lean towards facebook and younger toward myspace.

I used to have a myspace but I switched to facebook because most of the people my age and in my group of friends have facebooks. I feel there's more privacy on facebook, but that might not really be the case. But I do still like to go on myspace to check out music.

I like facebook. I think it is similar to twitter. You can post something short every once in a while.  Myspace, the only thing I think is good on it is putting layouts on it.  But that are strict with posting links on there so I will have to spend a lot of time finding url cloakers just to post my links.  I don't have that problem with facebook.

I have all 3 but prefer Facebook. It is easier to navigate and seems to have less viruses. I hsve friends on all 3 but most of them are on Facebook.

I use both but now i use Facebook way more. Ive gotten into all the games on FB. Love it!

Neither.  Although I see some of the benefits of them, I really don't care to have everyone know about every little detail going on in my life, and having people I went to school with years ago, who I never was really close to, requesting me for additions all the time.  The people who are important in my life stay in contact with me just fine with email and the phone.

Facebook is 100 times better than myspace, the only time i would say myspace is on music

Like most of you guys, I have both myspace and facebook. When life gets crazy, I tend to avoid both places but facebook is far more professional and fun to access!

I'm on both but I prefer Facebook.  I used to be hooked on Myspace because I didnt understand Facebook and because everybody I knwe was on Myspace, but once I played around with it and started playing the games I fell in love with Facebook. Also Myspace is way to much work, Facebook is simple.  But Myspace is the place for Networking.
