Thunder and Lightening
« on: August 19, 2013, 05:21:42 am »
It's thundering and lightening outside like crazy right now. I'm super scared, every since I was a child it just terrified me seeing that curvy line of light coming from the sky , then the noise to go with it( thunder). I'm in Cali were suppose to have a 97 degree day. It's going to be a weird one.

I have always been afraid of thundering and lighting.  I get a cab to work when it storms.  I don't like to drive in a storm.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day and week and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

It storms pretty much every evening here in FLA & I don't like to be out when thunder and lightening is involved. LOL,4th of July nobody invited me to dinner cuz it was raining. My cats don't seem to be scared though they've lived most their lives on the street/outside til they adopted me & walked in. Guess they're tired of living outside.  ;) During thunder & lightening episodes, picture,,,,....a grown woman clutching two large domestic cats. Does anyone know or grew up with do's & don'ts during an electric storms? I don't care how stinky I get but I never take a bath or shower during an electrical storms!  Sunshine state my.... :bootyshake: ;D

Yes, thunder storms can be frightening but I find them exciting at the same time, even when I was a kid. Weird, huh?

We have been having some crazy storms lately, and I have always been terrified of lightning. I'm really looking forward to some clear skies.

I love to watch the lightning streak across the sky and sometimes right down to the ground, just so I am not out in it.  The thunder is sometimes frightening when it is so loud, but I sleep good when it thunders.

We had insane rain, wind, thunder, and lightning for a few days a couple weeks back. Then we just got hit with a lot of rain and wind. I've never seen weather like that. I think in June we had a lot of lightning. It was like the sky was taking a bunch of pictures of everyone below, kind of scary.

I love storms but I hate them at night where I cant see whats going on. Most of our storms are at night so hard to see but still love the claps of thunder. Lightning is ok too and yes , can be dangerous but I am very careful as not to do anything Im not suppose to do.

I don't mind thunder and lightning.  The big ones still make me jump, but I really don't mind the rest of it.  I find it sorta relaxing cause it tends to take a lot of the tension out of the air.  We don't really get thunder storms around here all that much though so that might be some of the appeal as well.
