do you ever feel like just packing up and leaving? I went on vacation to costa rica and there met a few different people from the US that just packed up and left and have lived there 20 years. Would you do it?

I would love to just pack up and leave right now. Unfortunately the money isn't there for me to just up and go.

I have thought about being somewhere else 100's of times. But I never seem to have the winning lottery numbers! ;D

I would love to have the security to pack up and move.  I've longed to do that many times.
Have a wonderful day!

I couldn't.  I don't see how people just pack up and leave the country.  But a lot of people do it.  :D

I wouldn't pack up and leave the country, but I'm hoping to leave this state. If I don't find a new job in another state by next spring, I will just pack up and leave anyway.

Nope.  I enjoy my life too much to try and escape it.  The grass isn't always greener on the other side.

During stressful times, I used to fantasize about "running away" to a different location and simpler life.  It was a great stress reliever; I would work out details in my mind of the house I would rent, how I would decorate it, where I would get a job, etc.  Then I was mentally ready to go back to work in my current environment and resume my normal life.

If I didn't have family ties here, I wouldn't mind living in another country.  But I couldn't stand the thought of not seeing my family on a regular basis.

I would love to, the only thing that is stopping me is my kids. Two are adults and I wild miss them to much. But if they would go, I would be gone today.
