How do you like your chicken made?

I like to take a whole chicken, stuff it with fresh herbs, onions, carrots and apples. Then rub under the skin with a compound butter and more fresh herbs. Roast it in the oven and saute some red potatoes with more of that compound butter. Cook up some veggies and serve.

Then with the leftover chicken, shred it up. Add a can of some cream soup (eg cream of mushroom, cream of celery, etc), a bag of frozen mixed veggies (ie the carrots, peas, and beans variety), and some More Than Bouillon. Pack it into a mini pie tin and cover with a puff pastry dough. Then bake for a chicken pot pie; this can also be frozen to make a quick meal at some later date (just pull out of the freezer and bake).

I like chicken any way, but I would say my favorite is grilled with bbq sauce. I haven't had that is such a long time.

I love fried chicken.  I soak mine in buttermilk over night and season the flour with garlic and onion powder, black and red pepper, salt, paprika, and a few other herbs and spices.  Fry in hot oil until golden brown.  The best.

Fried, baked, barbequed, boiled.....How do you like to cook your chicken?? 

I like my chicken fried but not allowed to have it anymore. I also like a spicy rub and then bake the chicken. I used to make a baked chicken with a cream of chicken soup poured over it years ago and I liked that, too.  I grew up on chicken and waffles every Sunday. Don't know how mom made the chicken but it was always moist and tender. I also like grilled chicken but no sauce please. 

Now I'm stuck making Shake 'n Bake chicken because that's just about the only way hubby will eat it (he hates chicken along with a lot of other foods -- very picky), but he will also eat Chicken Cordon Bleu, Chicken Parmesan once in a while, but don't EVER give him Chicken Cacciatore!

Oooooo. That sounds delicious. Love garlic and butter. Did you mean "Sicilian" (as in Italian) and did you find the recipe on line?   I'll have to find it and try it sometime. It might be another recipe for chicken I can get hubby to eat. (keeping my fingers crossed)
