I do for bill paying, but not when out at stores or restaurants.

I've had problems accessing my bank online so....

Yes, I ordered checks and I pay my own bills.  It's okay because paying bills and managing my resources is a task that I enjoy.
Have a great day!

I only use checks for when I need to send in for a bill and it isn't automated. I still write one for the rent, magazine subscription, utilities... Although I never write one in a store because a debit card is so much simpler.

I only write 1 or 2 checks each month, my health insurance won't allow me to pay online or from my bank account.

I've only written checks to pay rent. I don't order them though. I just use the free one's that came with my checking account. My landlord will probably start accepting cards before I run out, so there's no need to. I used my card for most things. I rarely use cash anymore either.

I learned writing a check before, to pay for my school lunch in middle school (used my father's check book and he reviews and signs it, he gets angry at me if I waste more then I should... so I learned pretty fast)... Then I switch to money order and then debit card... Never seen someone used checks anymore (maybe for business but idk)

Yea it is so easy to just swipe a card, that is why there is so much fraud today. I still use checks for as much as I am able to use them because I like to have the record. There was a case last year that I could check my records and prove that it was paid and cashed because I used checks to pay it. If I had used a card my financial institution would have charged me to go back more that 30 days to monitor my activity. I know it sounds "old fashion" but, "old fashion" still works better than new technology in some instances, there is too much fraud in the automated system. I was in IT ever since they called it IT.

I know what you mean, i got married in 2007 and bought only 1 box before that with my last name and I am only on my first pad of those checks. I use my debit card and pay all my bills online.

I do write checks for some bills that I can't pay online, and also if I want to give some money for birthdays, etc., especially if I am sending it by mail.

I prefer to pay with my check card. Much easier.
