Paid to Blog anyone?

So I've been thinking about trying a paid to blog site as well as my FusionCash, but I don't know of any good ones.

Does anyone else use one, or know of a reputable one?

As a journalism graduate, I used to work of The Examiner and AllVoices.

I would say it's NOT AT ALL worth it. It actually takes quite a while to write up posts, you're responsible for your own advertisement of each post, and you get fractions of a cent for every page view. Unless you're writing about an enormously popular field that gets very little coverage elsewhere (say if you cover a popular book or television series), you will NOT get paid more than $5 a month.

That stinks...
I'm trying to scrape up more money doing odd and end things, and I figured that since I blog anyway I might see what it would take to get paid to do so.
My blog isn't popular at all though. I only have like 5 people subscribed, and 4 are family.
