Interest and Commitment

There's a difference between interest and commitment.
When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when circumstance permit.


When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses, only results.

I agree wholeheartedly and attempt to allocate the majority of my 24 hours each day to things I'm committed.

interest can change but commitment is long term

Interest can waver as you go along with the plan unless this is nixed completely. Committment means you're hopefully willing to go through the process to the end. I wish I can commit better in many things in my life, but I do seem to fall under the interest criteria.

And commitment doesn't necessarily include having the interest in what you are committed to. Sometimes interest generates as a result of being committed and persistent.
