I haven't seen any previews for it but EVERYONE'S talking about it!!!! From what I've heard it was pretty good. I just saw The Evil Dead the other day and let me tell you that movie is not even scary just plain disgusting!

I hope this movie turns out to be as good as I'm thinking it will be. Depending on my cash flow, i'm going to see it either this week, or next week.

Right now it's rating 8.1 at IMDB, and 85% at Rotten Tomatoes. I'm looking forward to it very much, although it's not a film I'd pay to see in the theaters. I'm waiting for it to be out on Netflix, but I think it sounds great. I love good, old-fashioned haunted house movies.

I might check it out on netflix or something. I wouldn't pay to go see it, horror type movies just aren't really amusing to me.

Ok horror movie buffs-who is going to see this movie this weekend? From everything I read, it looks to be a decent rendition of the truth of what happened at the farm house. I'm hoping to spend my wedding anniversary in the theaters getting freaked out!

I don't like scary movies.  Seems like I saw this previewed and thought "ain't no way I would see that".  That cotton sheet protection wouldn't be enough.  :P

I hate horror movies. Depending on my mood I much prefer comedies or dramas. :peace:

I love horror movies, but probably will wait till it's on bluray due to finances.  Looking forward to seeing it then, though.

I am not a big horror movie buff but the previews look like it will really be scary.  Can't tell if it's the more gory horror or the jump scare horror.

From what I've read in the reviews, it's more a steady-dread type horror, with an occasional jump. I think it was the review in 'People' magazine that was stating the film had no profanity, no nudity, no gore, and was still given an R rating because it was just that scary. I've been saying that I'm going to wait until it comes out on Netflix, but my resolve is weakening LOL!
