How often do you talk to your Parents?

My mother has been has been gone for 35 years and i still miss her, my real dad passed away 32 years  ago. But my step dad is the one who raised us kids. He and mom were married for 28 years before she passed. He was more of a father then my real one. We call or go out and see  him quite a lot. Yesterday we took him fishing as he can no longer do the driving. Scared the he## out of me. He had been fishing and then all of a sudden he was moaning. Hubby got to him before me because i could not climb over the hugh rocks and had to go a round. Anyway his sugar dropped way down and he was dehydrated . could not move or talk. Thank god i carry meds, for this.  By the time the ambulance got there his sugar was back up enough he wasn't in danger but needed to go to the hospital. Seems like it took forever to get to the hosptial. and we were going 70. But the Good lord was looking out for him and thank God he was with us insead of at home by himself.

I talk with my parents at minimal once a week and visit them at least a 2 or 3 times a month. I would do this more, but I've been very busy at work. I guess that's no excuse either though.

I would like to talk to them but they are resting in peace. when they were here I used to talk to them daily. I really miss them.

I talk to my one parent every day because I see every day.

My mom everyday because i live with her i talk to my dad every few weeks he lives out of state and its just always been like that i wish it was better but it is what it is

When my parents were living I called them every day.  It was such a habit that when they died, I would start for the phone to call and then remember I didn't have them anymore.

Well, my dad passed away when I was young (17) he was only in his forties.  My mom passed away two years ago so I don't get to actually "talk" to them anymore.  But I think about them almost daily especially my mother.  I miss them.  But its something you just have to accept and go on.  Before my mom passed away I was staying with her to take care of her, so I was blessed to see and talk to her every day.

my dad is very selfish so i don't really like talking to him unless i have to.
my mom is barely home cause she's a live in caregiver for four days and have other patients to take care of.
so not very often i get to talk to them.

unless i feel like bonding with them. haha!

I do not get to talk to them as often as I should. My parents are in Kentucky.

I talk to my mother everyday and see her everyday. I know you said parents and not grandparents, but my grandmother helped raise me so I consider her like a second mom and try to talk to her every month. I can't really see her since we live a long distance from each other, but we also communicate through cards and letters.

I talk with my mom daily. I have not seen, or talked with, my dad in 30 plus years.  After my parents divorced when I was 18 that's when I lost contact with my dad.  Do I miss it?  No

My mom and dad live with me so I talk to them very offend.  Sometime when tire we just go on our way.
