I keep one in the car "just in case".  There's been a few times where I've needed it but otherwise it doesn't get used that often.

I have two or three phone books in my house, collecting dust. If I need a number, the place I go is straight to the internet. Probably should recycle those books though...

I still use a phone book from time to time, I also have a land line phone as well.  You never know when you might need it, I got a phone that doesn't require electric because when I loose power we can't charge our cell phones or my son puts off paying the cell phone and we all get disconnected I still have my emergency phone.  I have medical issues and sometimes I am left alone and we are thinking about getting those emergency button things to contact family or police and ambulance.

No never use a phone book - throw them away as soon as they come - can look up numbers online for businesses and no one I know even has a residential phone only cell phones so its just something else to junk up the house with so I toss it.

I keep one in the car and we have about 3 in the house.  I just can't get used to using my Iphone to look up numbers although my daughters never use a phone book anymore.

Do you still use a phonebook or look your phone numbers up online?  I try to use FusionCash search to get phone numbers for businesses as much as possible now but still have phonebooks on hand in case I need a residential number.  I still receive a new phonebook each year even though we haven't had a landline in our house for ten years now.  Like us, a lot of people have done away with home phones and aren't listed in the book.
If I need a phone number of a particular place, I go to the Internet. I do a search on the name and the city,ST where it is located. I find what I am looking for right away from the list provided by the search engine. I don't have enough phonebooks for all the numbers that I need to call. sometimes the local phone books will not have the right listing anyway. That really aggrevates me. I just go to the Internet and avoid all that frustration!

I do use a phone book, if it is local. Sometimes it just seems quicker to grab the book, then to type in the info. But my 11 yr. old didn't know how to look up a number in the phonebook until I showed her a couple weeks ago, I guess it is just something else they will phase out soon.

I use the phone book on my chair to stand on when changing a light bulb.

I do, but only very rarely.  I usually just look things up on the internet.

I still try to keep a relatively recent phonebook on hand, but I I've only used this once in the past couple years. I mostly do might activity searches online as other people. I also use a YP app, but usually use other search engines.
