Do you still use a phonebook or look your phone numbers up online?  I try to use FusionCash search to get phone numbers for businesses as much as possible now but still have phonebooks on hand in case I need a residential number.  I still receive a new phonebook each year even though we haven't had a landline in our house for ten years now.  Like us, a lot of people have done away with home phones and aren't listed in the book.

yes i still get phonebooks but it  just take so much space in my desk because its so bulky and i hardly use it anymore.

I tried to find a personal phone number not long ago and was so frustrated on line.  Everyone wants money just to give out a phone number.  Phone books are still needed  ::)

We just got a new phone book a few days ago, and I was thinking what a waste of money it was.  I use it maybe twice a year, but the print is so tiny, I can barely read it, even with my reading glasses.

Nope! Phonebooks are heavy and way out of date. There are online registries that are much easier and much less hassle. Only thing a phonebook might be good for is a paperweight... or perhaps a craft project...

I use the internet a lot.  Especially if I'm out of town.  But I like the phone book for local businesses.  It's easier for me most of the time.

Phone books are starting to become history. They are stopping the printing of many of them because most people have cell phones. They are still printing the business part of phone books. I have saved my last phone book they delivered. I use both the phone book and I will also search on line.

I can't remember the last time I opened a phone book.  When we moved out to a new county I went a little nutty not having one -in at my fingertips.  I don't know why...once I did get one I never did open it.  Funny thing though, when my mother-in-law was visiting one time she asked me if I had one handy and I had one for every other town but the one she was looking for.  That's when I declared to ditch the phone books and stick to internet searches for phone numbers.

yes I still use the phonebook.  My computer is not available all the time since my kids use the internet to play online games.  We only have DSL.

My brother was excited to see that a phone book had been delivered to us. I asked him why, and I found out it was because he wanted to attempt to rip it in two...
