I know we should only eat read meat no more than two days a week, we have chicken without skin and not fried, fish is really good as long as it isn't fried, pork is OK but it needs to be lean. Always have veggies fresh is better because no salt or additives are on fresh veggie and fruit, a little of starch which also includes corn and pea's and watch the portion web site.  You know they have a pyramid thing on the internet just type it in a search for it.  I hope this helps?

A nice piece of broiled fish, with a side of mixed vegetables and some lemon for the fish.  The key is to eat more vegetables than meats and to eat just the right size portion of meat, fish, or fowl with 3/4 of the plate containing vegetables.  If you go to a couple of sites online, I'm sure you will find many recipes that are not only tasty but good for you too!!!  Good Luck!!!

then if you are really not into blandness, dress it up with fruit, any type you like, and it is better to have fresh fruit.

sorry to be so limited, but I doubt there is any food on earth that SOME will jump on as a dietary disaster... even oatmeal was under attack not that long ago

   The best: No cooking at all! Try to eat cold foods at least during summer. You will be glad you did.

Check out Dr Oz.  He and the experts he has on have a lot of good advice.  Like he says I just keep adding good things to my diet and now I actually crave veggies. I eat less meat these days too, but just because I don't feel like fixing/eating that much any more.

I discovered kale salad at Wal-mart.  I like to dress it up with seeds and chopped veggies.  It's a great light, summer meal.  :thumbsup: 8)

I wish I could be better at giving up meat,but come on now bacon,juicy steak,hamberger with fries. It is hard to do and when you think of dinner, meat is the first thing .my daughter said try a turkey burger I said no to the way. I do like some veggies isuppose try more of them even the weird looking ones.

It depends on your blood type.  Blood type O people thrive on animal protein so a healthy meal for them might include a steak.  Blood Type A people thrive on a vegetarian type diet so they might enjoy a big salad.  Blood type B people like balance and Indian type foods so they would feel healthy consuming a meal that includes dairy, lamb, broccoli, cayenne, curry powder, ginger, etc.
Blood type AB people are a combination of A and B and they can get away with consuming peanut butter easier than some folks do.

I'm a blood type B person so I love a good Asian meal like a curry made with turkey.   :heart:

Stir fry with lots of vegetables, like zuchinni, squash, chicken breast, stuff like that.
