Working from home
« on: July 14, 2013, 06:28:24 pm »
I got terminated from my job in may and the reason that I got terminated is causing people to be hesitant to hire me. So I have been looking for a work at home online job but struggling to find a good one that is not requesting money. I was on another blog about working from home and one of the people reported that if they are asking you for money don't do it. Any suggestions on working from home sites that are not scams.
 :)

I landed my work at home job from Odesk. I make about $850 a month working as a website editor for freebie sites and virtual assistant for just4u fitness. It's completely free. Don't ever pay to work at home. It most always is a scam. I also do swagbucks for christmas presents (I just let it build till about November). And Fusioncash for a little more in the bank every few months. :)

"Work at Home" jobs are hard to come by online.  J O B being the key phrase in that sentence.
If you want to earn money, there are tons of ways.
Affiliate marketing is one of the easiest low cost ways to start earning some cash.
There are, also, a lot of pay to click sites but you earn very little with those.
So really, it depends on how much you are looking to make.

Don't pay for advice, there are plenty of people willing to help you for free.

Not sure why you were terminated, but maybe you should find a job working with a few people...  A small company.

You should stick with an hourly job and do online stuff on the side. Most online work is unreliable and/or requires a great deal more effort than just showing up to a normal job would.

There are a couple of site that offer work at home jobs a lot of then are bogus and I've tried a few.some are okay. But I've found that sites like fusion cash are more reliable, Some you spend more thatn you make. That is not what you want.

I agree - if they want money - RUN!
IF you can find something, working from home is great.  No wardrobe costs and no transportation costs.  Keep looking - hope you find what you want.

Maybe you could try some job placement agencies online! I put my resume out on Career Builders and got a call from a placement agency in Florida to work in Toledo, I live in Toledo. They are a very good company and they do the work for you by making your resume over, to giving you interviewing tips, to writing  your thank you letter.
It is only temporary but it could turn permanent depending on how well you do on the job! They are a very good company I recommend them!
