I would think half Irish half Italian but with the brown hair, fair skin, blue eyes I would lean more towards Irish but I was just wondering what others thought...I know kind of a dumb question BUT...............

Easy the child is a "mixed breed"!!!!  50% Italian and 50% Irish!!!!  Seems like he/she got the best of both parents!!!!

In many cases a child takes more tendencies from one parent or another. It all depends on who's genes are more dominant. I have two children a boy and a girl. They are grown adults now but, both have light brown hair (dirty blonde) and blue eyes. I also have light brown hair (some grey because of age) and blue eyes, I am Irish, English, German, and French. My wife Auburn hair with green eyes and is Irish. Now my daughter has two boys, she is brown hair with blue eyes and her husband is latino, dark hair and brown eyes. One of her boys look like her and the other has more of  the latino complexion. To see them together you would not know they were brothers.

Ya got yourself a little Italish!!!!  :D  I don't think the hair or eyes really has anything to do with it.  I'm of Italian descent and my eyes are blue.

I would say an "Irish Italian!"  If all are here in America, an American!  I'm sure the child is gorgeous, either way!  :)

I would say he/she is Irish. I am samoan and my wife is Palagi( Samoan for caucasian) and so our children are afa kasi's( half and half). So their nationality is samoan. Don't they always take the father's nationality for the kids? I don't think the hair or any other features will determined what nationality he/she is. Hopefully I am not too confusing!!!

You definitely have an American. We're all great combinations. That's what makes us strong.
