Independence Day

Hope everybody has a great Independence Day or 4th of July.  How will you celebrate yours?

We are heading out to the lake for BBQ, splash, dash and watch fireworks.

Probably just going to bed early tonight. How long I sleep will depend on our dogs who hate noises like fireworks.

I've got ribs, corn and new movies to watch.  Hope the new neighbors don't set off firecrackers in the parking lot.  The people in that apartment last year did that and their dog tried to bite the firecrackers when they were going off.  We have new people this year.  I have nothing against fireworks, but they scare my cats and me too.  Besides we're in a drought and there's restrictions.

Today is one of my holidays to work, so that is where I will be for 13 hours.
We'll be going to a strawberry patch to pick strawberries this weekend though.

I'm looking forward to see the big fireworks tonight at the lake, hopefully it will not rain tonight. last couple of years there was a rain.

It has been raining here off and on for days. I think our local economy is so bad, they cannot afford fireworks this year.
