Toolbar Searches Invalid
« on: July 02, 2013, 08:00:49 am »
Early this morning I was able to do a couple of searches with the toolbar, then out of nowhere I started receiving the error "You did not perform a qualifying search. Learn Why." and I don't receive credit for the search. I tried waiting a while between searches and still same error.

Has anyone else had this same problem, if so how did you fix it?

I get that message all the time with no explanation. For a while I thought it was because I went to the same websites every day. But that's just a guess.

I have never fully understood the Fusion Cash search bar. I am usually successful in earning one penny a day for my searches. I do it slowly. I do four searches at a time. I travel a lot so I search travel sites, cities and states. Do four unique searches. I go to some sites frequently. I do NOT search those sites using the Fusion Cash search bar. You want to search sites that you do not go to frequently or within the last 24 hours.

For instance, I have said that I travel a lot. So I might search Atlanta, San Diego, Boston and booking.com or trip advisor. I spend a lot of time on my results. I do not search these sites if I have done them within the last 24 hours.

I keep up with the news so I might search ABC, Huffington Post, TMX, and KVUE.  But I only search these sites if I have not searched them in the last 24 hours.

I save up my searches and search four at a time.

This works for me. I hope that my info my help.

It is the second day and I am still receiving the same error message. I tried the suggestions above plus, I tried uninstalling the toolbar and reinstalling. I also tried installing it in a different browser and got the same result. Now, I need admins help because I know if I'm not getting credit neither is FusionCash. I believe I'm doing valid searches, I even view web pages from the search results and have read what they deem to be a valid search as stated below.

Your search was deemed invalid and did not qualify for earning a reward

This could have been for the following reasons:

You are in a country that is not eligible to earn rewards
Your search query was nonsensical or yielded no actual results
Your query originated from an automated process or macro
Your search patterns reflect that you are not actually using this service for results

IMPORTANT NOTE
We use sophisticated algorithms to determine valid searches in accordance with Yahoo! If you are not credited for your searches it means they have been flagged as invalid. Please understand that the current status is not permanent. You will receive credit for your searches if you continue to search naturally throughout your day.

I see that saying too.  I tried to look up the same search twice.  I was doing an assignment for class and the teacher asked for the difference between decentralization and reorganization.  I thought I could use that as a Fusion Cash search.  I got that message too.  Out of 15 searches, I received credit for 3, meaning I received $0.03 in searches.  That was last month.  I am going to try to get a couple of searches.  I was trying to get $0.20 today; I got $0.17 between my daily e-mail and my paid to click.  I want to make sure I earn as much from my paid to click, since I have to earn a nickel beginning July 15 to do any.  I did my face being visible task, and it did not credit today.  I have earned $11.84 thus far, and I want to try for $50 and cash out by the end of October, which will be my sister's 49th birthday.

It is rare that I get that link your talking about. Try clicking on one of the links in it. Sometimes the search engines pick up a first part of a word that you previously put in and they do not let those go through.

The problem has been resolved. The cause of the problem was due to the host website that does the algorithms to determine valid searches was down for a period of time. Since many websites have a 99.9% up time, it was not considered an abnormality by there standards.

I downloaded the Fusion Cash Toolbar today.  I was successful in getting $.01 for my first 4 searches.

Be sure to read my previous comments regarding the requirements that the search bar uses to determine if your search is valid or not, sometimes it can be pretty picky. Also read some of the suggested searches others use when searching they can be very helpful as well.

TIP: When you do a search, always type in your search terms letter by letter. I noticed if I copy and paste or start typing then select a from the possible auto-detected search words below the search box it sometimes comes up invalid.
