no not yet but, i will do it.  you know what just think of your health being one of the first things on your list and, go for it.  you can do it.  my sister did it.  am a veggie so so no meat or pork on my fork.  hope everything is fine and God bless you.

I have had 6 of them and it has never gotten any easier to drink that stuff alothoughit is a little better then the first time i had to drink the gross stuff. The 4th, one was the hardest because i had major surgery on a thursday and a cscope on the following monday. I just stayed in the bathroom for the most part because of it. The last 2 weren't too bad. But better too have them then to die because you didn't.

I had on done about 2 years ago and yeah drink that drink is horrible and so much. Good luck to you.

Well that is over and all was fine TG, They did give a lemon package to mix with the drink but still is gets to you after 12 glasses. good for another 2 years anyways  thank you all for responding

Need to have one of those soon will refer back to these posts when i'm close to the my time. glad to know you can be almost asleep .Have heard the taste of the drink is awful will hold my nose and chug it down, might help a little.

You made me laugh, cateyes1!  The drink you have to take BEFORE the colonoscopy is by far worse than the actual colonscopy is.

Getting those last few glasses in is the toughest.  Gag me!!!!

Yo! Not a fun task. The night before is the worst. You're probably taking magnesium citrate and it tastes awful.    I don't recall feeling nauseous from it, though. Plus, I felt that there could be no more left inside me, but there always was more. The procedure itself is not a problem. You are sleeping and then you wake up and go home. No pain.

I had mine done quite a few years ago, but you don't have to take another one for about ten years, so that's a good thing for sure.

When I had to drink that beverage I thought I would be sick, too.  I got through it, until I had one 16 ounce glass left.  I started to cry and wailed to my husband, "I don't think I can drink this!"  But I drank it and lived to tell about it.

That "drink" is nasty!  The last few glasses are the WORST!!

I had one about 5 times now and for some reason drinking the solution gets easier and easier. It's a lot like drinking alcohol.

I'm glad you had a chuckle jkhanson lol, I couldn't get myself to drink the whole gallon yuck yuck did I mention yuck. well that's over for another 2 years anyways

I have had this done to me 3 times. The first time the DR. had me drink something called go lightly. That stuff gags you. It took me forever to finish it. The next 2 I had I told him to let me drink something else I cannot drink that go lightly ever again. I hate this procedure but cancer runs in my family and I take all precautions.
