I don't believe that any of us want to grow old, but it is all a part of life. I like the natural look and I think gray hair is beautiful. I don't want to be old and be cast off by my family and friends. We have to remember that one day we will be as old as they are so how would you want to be treated. My dearest and sweetest friends are almost twice my age and I would do anything to keep them from having to go to a nursing home. However, this isn't always something we can control but if they need help with anything and I can help them; then you can believe that I am going to do just that.

If she works for the government then she surely can afford to pay that small amount of $15 a day.  Government workers are paid the most of anyone and have the greatest benefits.

I have not dyed my hair yet. I wear wigs so I keep from doing it.

I use a semi-permanent once or twice a month. I use henna and "indigo" (I like my hair black) about once every six weeks. If you want to stay away from chemicals, you may want to use Henna and the other types of natural hair coloring powders (from plants). Also use a shampoo that is designed for colored hair.

It's not about getting old because there are plenty of people in their 20s who have grey hair coming in.

I am growing old but I feel young. I used to dye my hair I tried all the colors and ended up going back to the natural color. I used to use a lot of makeup but now I wear none because I discovered that it will give you more wrinkles as you age. I used to wear nail polish but stopped that two years ago and I just keep them natural and filed to look good. I still have people race to the door to open it for me because my hair is dark brown with gray mixed in. So like I said you are as young as you feel. I am now 67 years old and people tell me that I don't look it. In fact the last time I was talking to someone he said wait until you are my age. He was 58 years old. So you see giving up a little gave me a lot. I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me.

Gave up on mustache and beard because of the occasional gray hair. Maybe when it all turns I'll try again.

I worry about all the stuff in hair dye, so tried henna and indigo for awhile, but that doesn't really cover my gray!  So I will dye my hair now and then, but will stick to the ammonia free kind, so it washes out after awhile.

I love silver and white hair.  My hair is light to medium brown and it's hard to see the gray.  I was told it would just get lighter.  So far there isn't much difference.  I'm almost 62.

I admit it! I am over 50 and will not go down without a fight.  I will fight aging every step of the way.  I try everything!!  When you look good, you feel better.  You keep a more optimistic and youthful attitude about life.  Did anyone see Tina Turner with the hour long show with Oprah.  She is over 70 and looks and feels great.
