Announcement: Changes coming to PTC on July 15th

The change isn't too bad.  It just makes me do more on Fusion Cash instead of the same ol' routine.

Well, I LIKE doing the same ol' routine. I don't have time to leave the radio on for all day, and forum postings don't count... There are a few purchases I wouldn't mind making to earn more, but those will run out really quickly and so I can't do one every day! What else is there that I can do?  Penny surveys? There aren't always those available either.

The biggest problem maryann2657, is that a lot of folks think this is a charity and not a business at all.

This is a good change, in my opinion. It will actually help increase earnings for some people. I like it!

All I know is I turned on the radio and watched two videos this morning and had the 5 cents needed in 10 minutes. I don't see the big deal since I am going to be earning more than that anyway, so what if I need to wait an hour to do the 15 cent paid to click?

Sounds easy enough to do. I listen to the music every day and watch the videos. Just need to make that my first priority. No problem.

You guys, it's really not that hard to get $0.05. Here's a quick way:

1.) Log into FusionCash
2.) Launch a paid video - usually 1 or 2 cents
3.) Jump over to Tasks and look for one that rounds up the balance, either a 3 or 4 cent one.

Easy as pie!

I think the insults from some members should stop. I was going to quote someone here but took it out because there have been many snide "look down my nose at you" remarks.  I think all of us didn't know the PTC came out of the pocket of Admin.  Lots of us belong to many PTC sites where the payment we get comes from the advertisers. This thread should probably be closed since some think they're better than others and know it all!  We thought we were getting paid to do something that benefitted the advertisers by making visits to their sites. =(((   So now we know we were getting paid by Admin and not the advertisers.  We're used to sites that beg us to view ads and praise us for viewing them, so we thought it was just a section like that and that we were doing something needed. There's no reason to insult people who thought they were being paid to help advertisers, even though it was a little job.

I need to get clicking! I have clicked just once since joining because I've had problems finding the link! However, I went back to 'Old Buddy's tutorial :notworthy:and I think I have it. So... onward and forward. This new rule will level the playing field, and anything that's fair, I'm all for it!

I haven't seen ANYONE being attack or insulted here. It's a general observation that some don't understand and if they take that as an insult, that's no one's fault but theirs. The only one that decides when threads are to be closed is the admin.

Well then you haven't been reading...here's one! :  "a lot of folks think this is a charity and not a business at all."  And yes, I take it as an insult when I was doing what I was invited to do on the Offers page....after having tried tasks and surveys and getting totally frustrated with them.  I guess I'm just not as smart as most people are. So maybe I'm not welcome here.

That is NOT an attack or slam on any ONE person, it is simply a fact. If you read this forum for a while you will see evidence of it EVERY DAY and especially right here in this thread. Too many people want more and more without putting forth any extra effort on their part and it is not good sustainable business practice to provide that.

The point is that no one KNEW Admin was paying out of pocket for PTC.  We thought we were helping the site by viewing ads that advertisers paid for and would keep buying because they wanted people to view their sites.  We thought we were doing a job someone wanted done and were being paid the price they wanted to pay. 

If anyone thinks this is a charity it's the survey sites that ask you 30 questions and you answer them all, only to be told you don't qualify.  I just thought I'd give a survey a shot one more time after swearing them off....and 15 minutes...wasted...for nothing.

I am sorry to see this change. Although I try to get additional credits on are regular basis, some days I just don't have the time to do anything more than the ptc and I use this to check the weathe and horoscope...so I guess I will have to us another site for these daily check ins.  Oh, well, nothing good lasts forever.

I usually do PTC first but other than that It won't affect me.  You can make 5 cents in less than an hour just listening to RadioLoyalty!  Which I do anyway.

I was wondering how I could participate after July 15, other than 'search' credits.  Thank you for mentioning Radioloyalty.  I get credits for listening to Country and Oldies Music now. Easy Peasy. Will look into 'Tasks', just in case.
