I am so tired of hearing of this. I have nothing against Gay people. Really though enough is enough. My thoughts are that one day your gay and another your day not. Sexual feelings are just that sexual nothing else. :bootyshake:

I think gay couples should be able to get married, and yes, they should have the same benefits.

I agree! :peace:
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

:( My religious beliefs lead me to say no I don't believe they should however if that is to be the outcome then gays should have to bear the consequences such as legal divorce etc.

I am not getting too deep into this controversial issue. We say in America, people should have the right to marry or have sex with same gender. I understand that part clearly. But we forget one thing. God, our creator had disapproved the same sex issue in the old testament. Before he destroyed these two cities (Sodom and Gomorra), God specifically stated  to Abraham why he sent the angel to destroy these two cities. One of the reasons was because of the same sex issue. God was very displeased with that. Are we trying to force God to change his mind about this issue ? God will never changes his mind because he is HOLY.

It is not in line with  the Bible, but let people live their lives how they want.  I don't agree, but it is their choice and they should have rights.  God is the judge!!!!     :angel11: :angel11:

It's going to happen in the near future. Gays will get their rights and all. We'll all just look back on it and think "Really? That was an issue?".

I totally believe gays should have the same rights. If we are to live in a world where everyone is equal then gays are no doubt entitled to live as they choose in their pursuit of happiness. I am not gay but I fully support them.My best friend is gay and I have supported him from the day he came out and I always will

marriage should  be between a man and a woman but this keeps changing depending on where you live.

No I don't think they should have the same rights. If individual states want to recognize Civil Unions, that's fine. But I don't think on the Federal level they should have equal rights as married couples.

Absolutely.  It's a step in the right direction because it's progress.  I believe in equality for everyone and I appreciate the fact that sometimes.....

things change for the better.  I'm a straight female; however, I still believe that we're making positive changes in this country.
Have a great day!

I really don't mind it at all as long as they can explain it to my future son/daughter why two guys/ two girls are together kissing/hugging etc so much, because I don't really think I can explain it to them xD.

I've left this alone for 2 days, thinking "I do NOT want to get in this."

But here goes. I'll let you know up front that I am a believer, and that I'm heterosexual.

The argument for gay marriage, or same-sex marriage, for me, is a matter of fairness. Why should people who have built a life together not have protection under the law? Why should the family of one be able to come in and take everything the two have built together after one's death?

Jesus said Love God, and love your neighbor as yourself.

Not one place can I find did he ever say, "Eww, gay!"
