Who has been watching coverage of the Zimmerman Trial? What are your thoughts and comments on the trial so far? What has stuck out to you yet?

I have not watched the Zimmerman trial, except for hearing excerpts of it on the news.  He deserves what he gets.  Look at the facts; he called the police and they told him not to keep following Trayvon Martin.  He chose to ignore that advice.  Why?  Because Trayvon was wearing a hoodie and had no weapon on him.  He died at the hands of George Zimmerman.  Personally, I hope he gets the death penalty because he killed that young man and I do not agree with everything he claimed.  He set out to stop doing his job to kill a 17 year old, and he is an adult.  If he gets off, trust me, there is going to be chaos.  Justice must prevail here. ??? :o ???

I have listen to the trial and yes I will be following it because Zimmerman shot the kid in cold blood, first of all he should have just left the kid along and did what the 911 dispatcher said, "don;t follow him", but he did and he needs to pay. (death penalty).

I would like to say say Justice will win, but it will not bring their only child back.  :angel11:

I am not watching and can't render an opinion because I don't trust the media to deliver the news without a slant. He has been convicted already by the media, so he'll probably be convicted at trial.

I'm not watching the trial.  Here in Arizona, we had enough with the Jodi Arias trial, which was another farce.  Reason I say "farce" is because there's just no way the jurors couldn't come back with the Death Penalty (but that's another topic for a different post).

As far as what I know of the Zimmerman case, this guy is getting thrown under the bus.  I DID NOT feel that way in the BEGINNING.  Of course, our lovely main stream media will paint a VERY DIFFERENT picture so that one APPEARS more "innocent" than the other.  Knowing what I know NOW of Trayvon Martin.. sorry folks, he tried to kill Zimmerman.  This trial shouldn't have anything to do with murder at all.  It's a CLEAR case of "self defense."

He should have left Trayvon alone and let the cops handle it after he called them. He is a cop wannabe.

How true.  In US it is guilty until proven innocent no matter what the crime.  We need to start caring for ourselves instead of letting the government take over.  God Bless

It seems to me that Jodi Arias is getting special treatment just because she is female..WTH a mistrial. If a man had done this to a woman then he would be in jail for life..don't think it would be a mistrial. She stabbed him 29 times some state 27 times and his throat had been cut and he had been shot in the head. Horrible. Throw her *bleep* in jail period.

Very true. People need take responsibilities for themselves. Everyday a right is taken from us little by little.

I have been watching been da trail and I don't believe Zimmerman will win this. He called da cops n they told him to not follow trayvon but he did anyway. He had da gun locked n loaded b4 he approached trayvon. if u listened to da phone call da witness made, u will hear da screaming stopped right after da gun shot went off (who was martin). this fool wanted to start trouble and kill martin............*bleep*.

I briefly followed the news on the topic when it first happened, but I only have seen bits and pieces since then. I wasn't aware he was following him in the beginning either. Regardless of what decision is actually made his life is basically ruined.

Well, that first "main" witness didn't seem too convincing!
